About Us
Noise Clipper, the business
The past few years at Noise Clipper has been an exciting, demanding and explosive journey. The company has undergone re-structuring,
re-engineering and new directors was appointed. The entire management structure had a revamp during this period and the strategic
direction was changed to accommodate the ever changing demands of the market.
Noise Clipper well known for their “One Product, One Brand” strategy has adapted this strategy.
The market demanded differentiation of best practice HPDs and service packages in terms of hearing conservation programs and service
stations. Management had to adapt to and invest into a more diversified approach to the market. This new strategic direction has paid off
and the market supports the new paradigm of hearing conservation. One of the cornerstones of Noise Clipper is a relative bold
human resources vision in terms of QWL (quality of work-life) and a Christian value system. We strive to empower our internal customer
according to our value system to enable them to effectively serve the external customer. We are not only focusing on bottom line results
and our internal and external customers are our most valuable assets. A few interesting developments are worth mentioning – we
have obtained the exclusive Variphone licence (Belgium based) and re-launced the well known Variphone.
We are also in a partnership with
the successful Canadian based company, Sonomax to provide the South African market with the “first” instant fit, soft custom-made HPD.
Both these products stem from international roots and are available in South Africa. Noise Clipper also offers the “new standard” HCP (hearing
conservation program) based on elements or the complete Hearing Coach Program (Netherlands). A few new tenders obtained from leading
South African mines (eg. Harmony,Lonmin, Impala, etc.) in 2007 place us in a front-line position regarding best practice HCPs. Besides HCPs
and HPDs we also supply a range of communication systems, namely the Varicom, Microcom, Wireless Ear, AEP-1, UM1 and UM2.
Noise Clipper (Pty) Ltd also supply (manufactures) Variphones to the Australian market after the successful completion of the NAL
test. The Noise Clipper HPD also recently obtained the mark of approval from the SABS as part of our quest for excellence and
TQM Part of Noise Clipper quest for excellence is to seek and establish partnerships with leading occupational health role
players. Currently we have close working relationships withNOSA, DEKRA, DME and the MVS (Mine Ventilation Society)
and are a member of SAPEMA. Noise Clipper has also received various exhibition awards and we are all looking forward to a
challenging future. |
